Bristol Box #14: For Those Who Like the 1960s ‘Batman’ TV Show

For some people of my generation, and the generation that came before mine (along with some people who just like campy television), the 'Batman' show from the 1960s was the height of superhero television. We never took it too seriously, but enjoyed the humor, both intentional and unintentional. So, if you, like me, are still a fan, this week's Bristol Box will be one you can't miss.

Bristol Box #11: For Those Who Like Old Fashioned Letters

Letter writing is a bit of a lost art, or at least a dying one. The only people who write letters anymore are those who are trying to keep the art alive, and those without computers. Be one of those keeping it alive with this week's Bristol Box.

Bristol Box #9: For Those Who Like Outer Space

Summer is both the best and the worst time to get out and look at the night sky. The frigid temperatures of winter are long behind us, but you do have to stay up considerably later for it to be dark. But there are plenty of constellations that are easier to see in the summer, such as Cygnus and Lyra.

Bristol Box #8: Learn to Make Bento Boxes

Bento Boxes are containers, sometimes sectioned or stacked, that hold fancy ways of packaging up meals. They originated in Japan, but have become popular in the U.S. If you enjoy arranging your food in attractive or clever ways, try your hand at making Bento Box meals.

Bristol Box #7: Travel to Switzerland

I adore Switzerland. I've only spent a few days in the country, but it is one of the top places I'd love to see again, this time for longer, and not restricted by a bus tour. If you're interested in a brief taste of the country, check out this week's Bristol Box.

Bristol Box #6: For Those Who Fidget

People fidget for a wide variety of reasons. Perhaps they are restless, or anxious, or they have autism or sensory needs. But regardless of the reason, there are many toys and tools that can help you stay focused and be at your best. This week's Bristol Box includes very portable fidgets that can be carried in your pocket, bag, purse, or child's backpack.

Bristol Box #5: For Those Who Experience Migraines

What feels best during the debilitating pain that often comes with a migraine? It's different for everyone, but for me, it's cold packs, pressure, dark, and quiet. This week's Bristol Box is loaded with tools to help your favorite sufferer. Set them up in a dark, quiet room with a bottle of water, help them procure any prescription migraine meds they may have, and hopefully this box of tools will help them through to the...

Bristol Box #3: Travel to England!

If you don't have the time or the means to travel to England, you can pretend, with a Bristol Box full of English goodies. Disclaimer: I have yet to actually set foot in England, so these might be a bit stereotypical for "tea time", but hey, it's all in fun.

Bristol Box #2: Learn to Draw

There are at least three different kinds of people. Those who can just naturally draw, those who can't and don't care, and those who can't but want to improve. I'm speaking to that last group in this post.

Introducing Bristol Box!

These days, subscription box services are quite the rage, but they are all very focused on one interest, such as food or superheroes, and require a costly subscription, often with an obligation for a certain number of months. You're also stuck with whatever comes in the box, regardless of quality, your taste, or whether it fits into your life. Bristol Box is different.
