I’m a sucker for a good sale, so when something we eat is on a good sale, we tend to stock up. I’m very good at stretching our food dollar.

This has caused our freezers (both our connected-to-the-fridge freezer and our chest freezer) to be perpetually full of late. It’s mostly (but not all) my fault. And part of it is that we stocked up on some things that are normally consumed by Kid #2, who is away at school.

So, each week, we plan meals to pare down our freezer contents, only for those newfound spaces to be filled with new things that are on sale that we regularly eat.

Must… stop… shopping… the… sales…

Rory would agree.
