Apparently Fishbone released their first album on April 1st. (The Smithsonian’s description of this item included: “Rubber promotional toy of a fish skeleton with in tact head and tail for Fishbone’s first, self-titled album.”)

I am not and have never really been a fan of April Fool’s Day. I like some of the jokes, like ThinkGeek‘s old fake (and sometimes later real) products, or satire headlines and stories, but definitely not practical jokes. You want to alienate me? Play a practical joke on me or anyone I know who also doesn’t like them.

Hopefully no significant events or news will happen today because no one will believe the headlines.
