Year of Being 50: Day 324: Considering Reining In My Content
So, news keeps coming out about companies using creatives’ content to train AI. Here‘s the latest I’ve heard.
I use third parties like social media sites for linking to my content, but I also share it in its entirety in various places like Tumblr. And I’ve been creating my newsletter on Substack now. I’m considering moving everything that holds content to just my own website to keep tighter control over things, though that might mean discontinuing my newsletter as I’ve been using it.
I could still do a monthly post with some of the content from my newsletter (like the microfiction, which I’m sort of enjoying doing but now mostly do for my daughter and my friend Dena…), but people would have to come here to see it.
I don’t know. Stuff’s happening. I’ll figure it out.
