Year of Being 50: Day 214: Making Things By Hand
There must be something innate in making things by hand that humans benefit from. More than creating things on a screen or in a non-tangible way.
I much prefer to write by typing on a computer. But it definitely doesn’t feel tangible until/unless I get it printed in book form.
But creating things by hand, like sewing, crochet, woodworking, letterpress printing, and even cooking and baking really satisfies a need I have. And I know I’m not the only one. I wish making things by hand paid better! Then I could spend more time doing it.
