Here they are marching in.

Two years in a row now, my daughter and I have sat on the library lawn (one of the few lawns in town) and listened to the amazing music performed by the Southwest Skye Pipes & Drums.

They are warming up.

They play mostly older traditional tunes, but also some extra fun things (“We Will Rock You”) and some more modern traditional-style tunes. They are fantastic and we always enjoy them. Rory stays home, as he doesn’t tolerate bagpipes very well.

Nothing like the smell of decaying leaves to take you back to childhood.

Check out their website to learn more! They have performances and lessons, too.

Autumn in Prescott.
