Year of Being 50: Day 125: Make Time for the Things You Like
Going back through my Day One journals, I came across a quote I pulled out of T.J. Klune’s The House in the Cerulean Sea (an almost completely perfect book, if you haven’t read it).
“‘Arthur says that we should always make time for the things we like,’ Talia said. ‘If we don’t, we might forget how to be happy.'”
This sums up one of my problems. I don’t make enough time for the things I like. And it does feel like I’ve forgotten how to be happy.
I’m definitely going to work on that. I’m just not sure how to go about it, as I run out of mental energy before I finish life’s required tasks.
