Another weird number day! This one reminded me of the old show 3-2-1 Contact that I used to watch as a kid. Loved, loved, loved it. It was nerdy and weird and science-y and had mystery and investigation and education, all packaged up for kids like me. And, it’s what I think of when I hear “The Bloodhound Gang.”

The not fancy, not slick shows from my childhood that were educational in nature are kind of extinct now. Early Sesame Street episodes felt less scripted (some segments), Mr. Wizard’s World (another huge favorite of mine) was also very informal feeling. I loved this kind of show as a kid, and wish they’d never made shows for kids that feel like Short Attention Span Theater.
