Figures before Window

Our house gets kind of stuffy in the winter, since we leave it closed up a lot because it’s usually colder outside than inside. A common problem in winter. But the house is also not that old, so it’s pretty air tight, and it often gets almost as warm outside as inside, with strong sunshine, which makes it really stuffy and stale inside.

So, on some days when it gets warmer than 60 degrees F, we’ve taken to airing out the house for a half hour or so in the warmest part of the afternoon. It really makes a big difference in our experience.
