Next week we start another homeschooling year!

SchoolI’m very excited for this year, because we will delve even deeper into our German lessons, and we’re starting some amazing lessons from the National Endowment for the Humanities. Though my origins are solidly in math, science, and technology, somewhere in college I transitioned to preferring to spend my own personal efforts into history and the humanities. So when we study them in homeschool, I get extra excited. We’re also doing the Big History Project, which will be a fun and intriguing mix of history and science, along with plenty of writing assignments.

Let’s just hope my enthusiasm rubs off on the kids!
