Olio #4: Bloom’s Taxonomy
Similar to Maslow’s Hierarchy of Needs, Bloom’s Taxonomy is a hierarchy of sorts. But it’s filled with levels of understanding and analysis, and the way it’s organized just makes me happy. Used in education and teaching, it describes gradually deeper levels of understanding, and can be used in pretty much any subject, including math, science, history, literature, and more. I’ve easily been able to work it into our homeschooling.
