Year of Being 50: Day 311: Boxes
When you need boxes, you need a lot of boxes.
I haven’t moved in a while, but I used to move pretty frequently. And I remember the burden of having to find new boxes each time to pack up my stuff.
When I lived in Boulder, Colorado, there was this handy cardboard dumpster where we’d just go dumpster diving and pull out quality box after quality box (broken down). We hardly had to purchase anything, except maybe the occasional specialty box and some packing material.
Where I live now, there is no such dumpster that I know of, so we’ve been collecting them for a while. But… we’ve worked through most of those already, and we’re only maybe half done with books. Forget about other categories. So we will be on the lookout for lots more boxes.
