I do have plenty of local friends (and family). Sure. Plenty of activities we participate in. But all of my work and a lot of my social time is spent online. Rory is mostly the same. One advantage of this is, when it comes time for us to move, even if we move far away, certain aspects of our lives won’t change. We’ll still have access to the work. Still have access to the friends and online groups. That’s a real plus.
