August brings preparations for the new school year, more hot and wet weather to northern Arizona, and the wrapping up of summer projects. It’s funny how I always have such grand plans for the summer but only am able to scratch the surface. Summers end up just as busy as the school year, somehow. And my five-a-week posts here have suffered. Still, I’ve gotten out at least two posts per week, and hope to continue to do so.

In the meantime, I’m also finalizing our school plans and working on book proposals, in between paying work. And… The Olympics are coming up! So the next month will be a bit busy. I hope your back-to-school season is/will be going smoothly!
